Liberian music icon Daniel George alias DenG has been recognized on an international stage after being inducted into the Hollywood Hall of Fame and honored at the 2026 Golden Image Award.

The veteran artist received the title of “Fellow of Global Impact” and was presented with the Africa Intercontinental Award in the International Category of Culture and Education, Excellence in Music and Academics.

Deng shared his appreciation following the recognition, saying the honor left him “overwhelmed with gratitude” and describing the achievement as a major milestone in his journey as an artist representing Liberia globally.

The legendary musician said being celebrated internationally serves as a reminder that dedication and perseverance can open doors, especially for creatives from Liberia seeking global recognition.

Coming from Liberia and being recognized on an international stage is a reminder that dreams are valid and that hard work never goes unnoticed,” Deng wrote.

He dedicated the honor to his family, fans in Liberia and around the world, and his team, thanking them for their continued support throughout his career.

Deng also extended special appreciation to Ambassador Julie Endee, the Government of Liberia, and the organizers of the Golden Image Award for creating the opportunity for him to receive the international recognition.

The Golden Image Award is known for celebrating individuals and organizations making contributions in areas including culture, arts, education, and national development.

Deng’s latest recognition adds to his long-standing impact on Liberia’s music scene, where he has remained one of the country’s most respected and influential artists.
