MONROVIA — Former Executive Mansion Chief of Protocol Nora Finda Bundoo has surrendered herself to the Monrovia Central Prison after Criminal Court “C” ordered her re-arrest over concerns surrounding the validity of her criminal appearance bond.
Bundoo turned herself in following a ruling by Presiding Judge Osuman F. Feika, who rejected property bonds submitted on her behalf, stating that they failed to meet the court’s requirements.
The court subsequently set her bail at US$8 million, with Judge Feika ruling that one of the properties presented as surety had already been used in 20 other court cases, making it unsuitable to secure her release.
Bundoo will remain at the Monrovia Central Prison until she provides a criminal appearance bond that is reviewed and approved by the court.
Charges Against Bundoo
The former presidential aide is facing multiple charges, including money laundering, theft of property, misuse of public money, criminal conspiracy, and criminal facilitation.
The charges stem from a November 2025 indictment issued by the Montserrado County Grand Jury in connection with allegations involving the handling and diversion of public funds.
Bundoo’s case is part of a wider corruption matter involving several individuals accused of financial crimes. She has maintained her right to due process, and the allegations against her remain before the court for determination.
The latest development marks another major stage in the ongoing legal proceedings as the court continues to address issues surrounding the accused’s appearance bond and trial process.
