Liberian award-winning music artist Philips Carr, popularly known as 10:30, is currently battling an unknown illness and is appealing to the public for financial support to seek medical treatment abroad.
Speaking to reporters, Carr said he has been experiencing severe swelling in his legs, hands, and face, along with persistent joint pain. He revealed that his condition continues to worsen despite seeking medical attention.
According to the artist, he visited John F. Kennedy (JFK) Medical Center, where he was reportedly told that doctors could not identify the cause of his illness. However, he says the swelling has continued to increase each day.
As a result, 10:30 is calling on well-wishers and the general public to help raise funds for his planned medical trip to Ghana, where he hopes to receive specialized treatment.
