Liberian-Canadian football star Alphonso Davies has officially tied the knot with his fiancée, Sheyenne, in a glamorous wedding ceremony held near Paris, France.
The Bayern Munich defender celebrated the special occasion at the Château de Saint-Martin-du-Tertre, a historic wedding venue outside Paris, surrounded by family, friends and football personalities, including his Bayern Munich teammate Jamal Musiala.

Davies, who was born to Liberian parents and later moved to Canada as a child, has become one of the biggest football stars from the African diaspora, representing Canada at the international level while maintaining his connection to his Liberian heritage.
The wedding celebration also featured a strong African music influence as Nigerian singer Mr P, formerly of the popular duo P-Square, performed live for the newlyweds and guests. Videos from the ceremony showed Jamal Musiala enjoying the Afrobeats performance as the celebration turned into a lively musical moment.
Davies and Sheyenne have been together since 2022 and announced their engagement in 2025 before exchanging vows at the private ceremony.

The occasion brought together football, African culture and entertainment as Davies celebrated a new chapter in his personal life with his wife, friends and loved ones.
