Liberian artist Jaredo and SOG Records have officially ended their working relationship, closing a chapter that spanned seven years and produced some of the most memorable moments of the singer’s career.

The announcement was made through SOG Records’ official Facebook page, putting an end to weeks of speculation about Jaredo’s future with the label.

In a farewell message, the label looked back on the journey it shared with the artist and expressed appreciation for his contributions over the years.

“Celebrating seven years. Countless memories. One unforgettable journey. It’s been a great run. Thank you for being part of the SOG story, jaredoofficial ❤️,” the statement read.

The announcement confirms what many fans had suspected in recent weeks as rumors continued to circulate about a possible separation between the artist and the record company.

Although neither Jaredo nor SOG Records publicly disclosed the specific reasons behind the split, sources familiar with the situation suggest that growing differences over creative direction may have contributed to the decision.

Sources also point to concerns surrounding the progress and rollout of Jaredo’s highly anticipated “POA” album, which has remained a topic of discussion among fans for some time. According to individuals close to the matter, disagreements regarding the project’s direction and release plans may have played a role in the eventual separation.

Jaredo joined SOG Records during a period when the label was rapidly establishing itself as one of Liberia’s leading music brands. Over the years, the partnership helped elevate the artist’s profile, earning him a loyal fan base and positioning him among the country’s recognized music acts.

Throughout his time with the label, Jaredo became known for a string of releases that contributed to his growing popularity, while also playing a role in strengthening SOG Records’ influence within Liberia’s entertainment industry.

News of the split has generated widespread reactions across social media, with fans expressing mixed emotions. While many supporters have thanked both parties for the music and memories created over the years, others are already looking ahead and wondering what the next chapter holds.

For Jaredo, the separation presents an opportunity to chart a new course in his career, whether as an independent artist or through a new partnership. For SOG Records, it marks the departure of another notable artist as the label continues to evolve.

As conversations continue online, one thing is certain: the end of Jaredo’s seven-year journey with SOG Records represents one of the most significant developments in Liberia’s entertainment scene this year.

Fans will now be watching closely to see what comes next for both the artist and the label as they move forward on separate paths.
