Award-winning Liberian artist CIC has made it clear that he is stepping away from social media drama, stating that he has entered a new phase of personal and professional growth.

In a recent post, the singer reflected on maturity and character development, explaining that music now represents only a portion of his life, while the rest requires protecting his reputation and peace of mind.

“That chapter of me being anywhere close to social media drama is closed. I’ve aged and matured,” CIC wrote.

He further emphasized that he will no longer engage in online disputes, regardless of pressure, indirect criticisms, or public commentary.

“Set ring light or do writing 909, you won’t get a word outta me,” he added.

The statement has sparked wide reactions across social media, with many fans praising CIC for prioritizing peace, discipline, and growth over online controversies.

Supporters described his decision as a sign of maturity, noting that the entertainment industry often exposes artists to unnecessary public conflicts that can distract from their careers.

CIC’s message has also reignited conversations about the growing culture of social media clashes within the Liberian entertainment space, where artists are frequently drawn into online debates and controversies.

For CIC, however, the message is clear: the era of online back-and-forth is over, and his focus remains on music, character, and long-term legacy.
