Liberian rapper Bucky Raw has spoken out following the recent report of a massive cocaine seizure at Roberts International Airport (RIA), questioning what he describes as “selective justice” in how drug-related cases are handled in the country.

In a social media post, the artist compared the high-profile cocaine case to his own past arrest over marijuana, arguing that there appears to be inconsistency in the treatment of suspects depending on the scale of the offense or personal connections.

Bucky Raw recalled being publicly embarrassed and suffering significant business losses after his arrest for what he described as “$40 worth of weed.” He expressed frustration that, in contrast, no individuals have reportedly been identified or publicly held accountable in connection with the recent multi-million-dollar cocaine seizure.

The rapper also alleged that during his own arrest, he was paraded and pressured to take photographs with drugs, claims he says reflect unfair treatment.

His remarks have since triggered widespread debate online, with many social media users discussing issues of fairness, accountability, and consistency in law enforcement procedures surrounding drug-related cases in Liberia.
