#LIBGeez County Meet Upadte:
On yesterday January 10, 2021, Maryland County filed a protest against Montserrado County after their first game at the ATS.

Montserrado stated in a press statement released on yesterday that, Alloy Brown should not be allowed to play in the county meet for the fact that he holds dual citizenship and has played professional football outside of Liberia.
The statement was made after Maryland\’s defeat to Montserrado in the opening match of the National County Sports Meet.

Alloy Brown scored 2 out of the 3 goals which led to Maryland County’s first defeat of the National County Meet this year.
And today is hearing for Maryland protest against Montserrado by 4:00 PM. It’ll be held at the board room of the Liberia Football Association at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

According to 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟏𝟒.𝟔 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟒.𝟕 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎-𝟐𝟏 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭
14.6 A. No county shall be allowed to register a foreign national as a player. All naturalized citizens who are players of county teams MUST present their naturalization documents during registration and leave a copy with the Organizing Committee.
B. All players/athletes participating in the 2020/2021 National County Sports Meet MUST present their valid National Identification Card during registration.

14.7 Absolutely, no former or current player who has played for the Senior National Team will not be permitted to participate in the National County Sports Meet (football).
