Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Football Association (LFA) Ethics Committee has officially cleared Determine Girls Football Club President Grace Weah after a complaint filed against her was withdrawn and subsequently closed.

According to the Ethics Committee, the matter stemmed from a complaint submitted by Madam Rochell G.D. Woodson concerning alleged irregularities involving travel tickets during preparations for the WAFU Zone A Women’s Competition in Dakar, Senegal. Woodson had been designated as Head of Delegation for the tournament.

The case was initially reviewed by the Ethics Committee following the filing of the complaint. However, before the matter could proceed further, Madam Woodson reportedly submitted a written request asking that the complaint be withdrawn, indicating that she no longer wished to pursue the case.

Following the request, the Ethics Committee formally accepted the withdrawal and ordered the closure of the matter.

As a result, the Committee confirmed that no disciplinary action, findings of misconduct, or sanctions have been imposed against Madam Weah.

The decision brings an official end to the case that had drawn attention within Liberia’s football community and had previously led to scrutiny of the Determine Girls FC president.

With the complaint withdrawn and the case closed, Grace Weah stands cleared by the Ethics Committee, with no pending disciplinary proceedings arising from the matter.
