Top Government Officials Tested Positive Of COVID 19 As Cases Increase Nationwide.
A recent update on the deadly coronavirus in Liberia shows that there has been a fast recovery of patients and also a steep increase in the number of cases daily.
The National Public Health Institute on yesterday released another statement on COVID 19 declaring 9 new cases and 4 new deaths as of yesterday April 26 2020. Bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 133, total deaths at 16, total recovered cases at 25, and total active cases at 92.

Amongst those cases is that of two top government officials, namely, Cllr. Frank Musa Dean Liberia\’s Minister of Justice and Deputy Police Director Sadaitu Reeves of the Liberia National Police.
Their results came in after the death of the Director of the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency, Mr. Marcus Soko.
The government through NPHIL is asking all citizen to pls take heed of all the preventive measures and wear a face mask at all times to help curtail the spread of the virus.
