Geoff Makhubo, Mayor of South Africa’s economic hub and largest city, Johannesburg, has died after contracting the Coronavirus. Earlier this month, the City\’s spokesperson, Mlimandlela Ndamase said Makhubo had been hospitalised for Covid-19 complications following a positive test result in late June.
