Former Liberian warlord-turned-President Charles Taylor, jailed for five decades for war crimes, has filed a lawsuit against his country\’s government over its \”refusal\” to pay his pension and retirement benefits, according to a court statement. Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale, who was recently sent on a 10 day remand for faking his shooting, received a rousing welcome from Inmates of the Ankaful prison where he is to stay and await his trial. Former President Donald Trump has defended U.S. Representative Jeff Fortenberry, following the Republican\’s indictment for lying to federal authorities about a $30,000 campaign contribution. A federal grand jury indicted Fortenberry on Tuesday October 19, after the lawmaker put out a defiant YouTube video featuring his wife and dog in front of a cornfield where he vowed to fight the charges. The Police have arrested Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, for playing a prank that he had been shot. The popular Ghanaian artiste who made the hit song Already with Beyonce, was declared wanted by the police alongside one other person. He turned himself in on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 8.59pm.
