The Liberia National Police has announced the official appointment of Deputy Commissioner of Police Sam Collins as its new Spokesperson, marking a key change in the leadership of the institution’s communication arm.
According to the police administration, Deputy Commissioner Collins’ appointment takes immediate effect and forms part of a broader administrative strategy aimed at strengthening internal operations. The reassignment aligns with ongoing efforts by the Liberia National Police to strategically deploy officers across various divisions to improve efficiency, professionalism, and overall service delivery.
The LNP said it has full confidence in Deputy Commissioner Collins’ experience, leadership qualities, and commitment to transparent and responsible public communication. His assumption of duty as Head of the Press and Public Affairs Division is expected to further enhance the institution’s engagement with the media and the general public.
The police administration expressed optimism that under his leadership, communication between the Liberia National Police and citizens will be strengthened, fostering greater public trust and accountability.
