Residents of Mao Town, about 15 kilometers from Sanniquellie in Nimba County, are in disbelief following reports of a man in his mid-30s battling an unusual and worsening health condition believed to have started after he was accused of having an affair with another man’s wife.
Sources say the strange situation began about a month ago and was initially kept secret by the man’s family. It became public when locals noticed that the victim’s penis had remained in a constant state of erection — a condition many describe as both painful and mysterious.
According to local chiefs and elders, the ordeal began after a man identified as Bill Duo accused the victim of being romantically involved with his wife. The confrontation reportedly escalated into an argument, during which Bill allegedly warned him that he would “see what happens.” The next day, the victim began experiencing the unusual symptoms.
Family members claim they have taken him to several traditional healers across Nimba County, but all attempts to treat the condition have failed. The case has since been reported to the local clan chief, with the victim’s relatives accusing Bill Duo and his brother of witchcraft.
Recent reports indicate that the man’s condition has worsened, his perpetually erected penis is said to be painfully increasing in both size and length daily, leaving his family and the entire community deeply alarmed.
