The Liberian government has refuted a recent report from NAYMOTE, which claims that only 3% of the promises made by President Joseph Boakai have been implemented. The report, titled the “President Meter Report,” was released on Wednesday and stated that out of 119 promises made by the president, only three have been fully completed.
In a swift response, Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs, Daniel Sando, labeled the report as “deceptive and inaccurate.” He argued that the findings were designed to tarnish the image of the government and mislead the public regarding the progress made under President Boakai’s administration.
Sando emphasized that the government remains committed to delivering on its promises and dismissed the report as part of a broader effort to undermine the administration’s accomplishments. Despite the backlash, NAYMOTE stands by its findings, which continue to spark debate about the government’s performance and accountability.
