Marckeys a liberian artist based in Ghana has openly rebuke Anthony Fofana for scaring away foreign investors from the entertainment industry. Anthony who appeared on the Enan Show in Ghana told the world that it would be a risk for foreign investors to invest in the Liberian Music market. Something he said will be a waste of their time and money.
Replying to the post on our official blog, Marckeys left these few words for Anthony:
“What he did was not good, it was not patriotic especially coming from someone who’s also part and parcel of the happenings in Liberia.
I am not against his truth assertion about the music industry and how other artists behaves, but discouraging investors from investing in Liberians was wrong and wicked.. there are always bad people among good people.. you can’t judge, hate and punish everybody for other people wrong doings..
the person interviewing him can never say that about his country and people..
I am base here in Ghana and I see and know bad things that are happening within the Ghana music industry, but you will never see them coming in public to discourage investors from investing into their artists or country, but Liberians are always telling investors not to invest into our country and our people..
Why all that? Why do we hate ourselves so much?
By the way, Liberia is striving and Liberian artists all over the world are trying their best pushing harder, one day we will get there too.. remember when others were building theirs up, we were destroying ours..
let’s unite and support each other..
peace and love ❤️”
