Total LockDown In Monrovia As President Weah Announces State Of Emergency.

On the early morning of Saturday April 11, 2020 the streets of Monrovia looked so Vail and empty like a ghosts camp. Only few essential staffers of government and heads of family were seen outside.

The State of emergency was issued by the President so as to curtail the spread of the deadly CoronaVirus in Monrovia and it\’s environs.

Residents are to remain in their communities all day with only one person per family given access to go out for either food, or get money from the bank for household purposes. And they are allowed out for the maximum of one hour.

Accredited government institutions and ministries including Ministry of foreign affairs, ministry of health, national public health institution, ministry of finance, and ministry of defense will be given passes that will be issued to essential staffers only. This pass will allow them to stay out from the morning hours to 3:00PM.

Since the announcement by the President the SOE took effect as of yesterday and this is how the city of Monrovia looks as of 3:00PM,  12 April 2020.
