Wednesday, March 25, 2020)—Orange GSM-Liberia and Lonestar Cell MTN have made separate donations of mobile phones to the Office of the Vice President, Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor. Triggered by a special request by the Vice President to the two GSM companies, the donated phones have been turned over to health authorities in Liberia for use by contact tracers to help in the fight against coronavirus. Liberia records it\’s first case of COVID-19 as Environmental Protection Agency boss Nathaniel Blama tested positive. The EPA boss who returned to the country from Switzerland on the 13th of March was tested positive by health authorities at a local health facility he visited after noticing some symptoms of the virus.  He previously refused to be tested at the Airport before entering the country.
