After a four-year long hiatus, the Miss Liberia pageant seems set to finally take place. The government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism (MICAT) Sent out a call for proposals and a Liberian entertainment company known as XL-Entertainment (xL-Ent), won the bid to become the host of the Miss Liberia 2021-2022 edition. Sasha Johnson, a prominent British Black Lives Matter activist is in critical condition in hospital after being shot in the head in London, her political party says.
