Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League club NK Čelik Zenica has officially confirmed the signing of Liberian forward Emmanuel King Sieh Jr. on an 18-month contract.
The agreement, finalized at the club’s headquarters today, formalizes the partnership following King’s training stint with the team since the initial roll-call on January 22, 2026, which had been previously highlighted by local media.
NK Čelik Zenica announced that the first steps of the player’s registration have already been completed. The club is working to ensure King is eligible to feature in the upcoming Cup match against FK Sarajevo. Should this not be possible, the forward is expected to make his debut in the first round following the season’s restart against NK Travnik.
Upon signing, King expressed his excitement about the move:
“I am happy to have joined Čelik. I see this as a new step in my career. I would like to thank the entire team and the club for the warm welcome, both on and off the pitch. I am also grateful to God for this opportunity. I hope we will achieve our main goal, returning to the Premier League. My message to the fans is to continue supporting the club as they have been. I’ve been following them, and I hope we will keep making them happy.”
The club and its supporters now look forward to seeing King contribute as NK Čelik Zenica aims to reclaim its spot in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s top-flight football.
