The Ministry of Justice has released the findings of a government-commissioned autopsy into the death of Mr. Anwar Futloo, the former Manager of the Boulevard Palace Hotel, confirming that his passing has been classified as “Unnatural.”
The Ministry launched the autopsy following widespread public concern and speculation surrounding reports of an alleged suicide. The examination was conducted on January 7, 2025, at the St. Moses Funeral Parlours on Somalia Drive by Liberia’s Chief Pathologist, Dr. Benedict Kolee. Present during the procedure were members of Mr. Futloo’s family, law enforcement officers, and mortuary staff, ensuring full transparency.
According to the Ministry, the official autopsy findings concluded that Mr. Futloo’s death was unnatural and consistent with a self-directed action, ultimately confirming suicide as the cause of death.
The Ministry has not yet released additional details surrounding the circumstances leading to the incident but emphasized that the autopsy was conducted to clarify lingering doubts and provide factual guidance to the public.
