Liberian rapper Barsee was involved in a car accident earlier today while traveling to the airport for a scheduled flight to India.
Reports indicate that Barsee was accompanied by four other passengers when the incident occurred near Cooper Farm, a short distance from Kakata, following a trip from Gbarnga.
Authorities and eyewitnesses confirm that no one sustained injuries in the accident. Barsee has continued his journey and is expected to reach the airport in time for his flight.
The cause of the accident has not yet been disclosed, and local traffic officials are reportedly monitoring the area to ensure safety.
Meanwhile, Barsee has recently made headlines for a separate incident involving Philip Paye, CEO of Philipmenia Guest House, which had led to the rapper’s brief detention in Buchanan. Following a public apology, Mr. Paye, also known as Jah Glory, forgave Barsee. In a gesture of reconciliation, the rapper then announced plans to host a free “Apology Concert” in Grand Bassa, aimed at fostering peace and unity in the community.
The developments mark a tough week for Barsee, blending both unexpected challenges and steps toward reconciliation, while fans eagerly await his upcoming concert and international travel.
