The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has officially declared its suspended former Grand Bassa County Commander, S/Agt. Alfred Lackay, wanted for investigation.
According to a statement issued by the agency, Lackay is being sought by the Liberia National Police (LNP) in connection with the alleged unlawful transfer of over US$10,000 from the mobile phone of a suspected drug dealer.
The LDEA has cautioned the general public against engaging in any form of business or transaction with S/Agt. Lackay under the guise of representing the agency.
Authorities are appealing to the public to assist in locating the suspect by providing any information that could lead to his arrest and subsequent investigation. Anyone with credible information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the LDEA or the LNP immediately.
The agency further reaffirmed its commitment to combating illicit drug activities across Liberia and called on citizens to support its efforts by reporting any suspicious behavior or drug-related incidents.
