MONROVIA – World Girls Football Club has officially presented twelve new players who will represent the team in the upcoming season, signaling a renewed push for domestic and regional dominance.
The unveiling, held over the weekend, featured six international recruits and six homegrown talents. According to club president Mollyn Jarbo, the additions reflect World Girls FC’s ambition to compete at the highest level and challenge for the league title.
“Last season we battled through injuries, but still finished 6th and reached the Orange Cup final. That earned us a place in the Super Cup set for October 5 in Nimba,” Jarbo said. “With these signings, we are stronger, more diverse, and ready to push further.”
The international arrivals include Nigeria’s Daniel Precious Godtime and Goodness Chinonye Nwoko, Ghana’s goalkeeper Ahamadu Amina and midfielder Abigail Amorh, DR Congo striker Seh Hélène Caroline, and Nigerian defender Saludeen Zainab. Together, they bring continental experience and depth across all areas of the squad.

On the local side, World Girls FC introduced Christine Kerkula, Victoria Waltkins, Gloria Targbe, Hannah Passay, Courage Shine, and Danieline Toomey. The club described them as players who carry the “soul and determination of Liberian football.”
Beyond football performance, Jarbo stressed that the club’s vision extends into mentorship, focusing on mental health, physical well-being, and life skills development. “We want our players to be more than athletes , we want them to become leaders and ambassadors,” she said.
The new lineup is expected to feature in the upcoming Super Cup, where World Girls FC will attempt to establish itself as a top contender in Liberian women’s football.
