Recent social media buzz claiming that music executive AI Johnson, CEO of Libmuzik, bought a Chevrolet Cruze for artist Spize has been debunked. Contrary to widespread rumors, Johnson did not finalize the purchase, despite initial discussions at a dealership.
According to reliable sources, Johnson, Spize, and other members of the Libmuzik team visited a car dealership to inquire about the Chevrolet Cruze, priced at $6,000. During the visit, Johnson expressed interest in buying the vehicle and even mentioned going to the bank to withdraw cash. His team recorded parts of the interaction, further fueling speculation.
However, after leaving the dealership, Johnson and his team did not return to complete the transaction. The dealer reportedly waited until nightfall, but the purchase was never finalized.
The confusion escalated when photos and videos of the car surfaced online, with many assuming it had already been bought as part of Spize’s signing bonus. Fans and social media users quickly circulated the claims, celebrating what appeared to be a generous gesture from Johnson.
As of now, the Chevrolet Cruze remains at the dealership, unpurchased. Neither Johnson nor Libmuzik has issued an official statement on the matter, but sources close to the label confirm that no deal was closed.
The misleading reports initially sparked excitement among fans, with many praising Johnson for his support of Spize. However, after clarification, reactions have been mixed, some expressed disappointment, while others humorously noted the power of social media rumors.
This incident highlights how quickly unverified claims can spread, especially when involving high-profile figures in Liberia’s entertainment industry. For now, it seems Spize will have to wait a little longer for that rumored new ride.
