Just when it seemed Liberia’s music scene was moving past old rivalries, a fresh social media clash has erupted between hitmaker JZyNo and fellow artist Teddyride, all stemming from a post Teddyride made congratulating JZyno for his new project with American Rapper, The Game.
The drama began when Teddyride shared the cover art for JZyNo’s upcoming collaboration with American rapper The Game, congratulating him on the major milestone. But instead of appreciation, JZyNo fired back, calling out Teddyride for keeping him blocked on Instagram for over two years, which he claims is a sign of fake love.
Taking to his own Facebook page, JZyNo didn’t hold back, questioning the sincerity of the post.
“How do you make a post congratulating me when you have me on your block list for over two years?” JZyNo wrote. “Did he do that post for Facebook and bloggers, or did he do it for me? How will I see it and appreciate him by commenting when I am blocked?”
The “Butta My Bread” singer insisted he had long moved past their past issues, referencing previous interviews and public statements where he expressed a desire to reconcile. “Teddy and I came a long way to make him my enemy,” he added, before playfully urging fans to intervene: “Y’all tell him to unblock me so we can go back to the old us.”
This latest spat comes months after both artists appeared to bury the hatchet, with Teddyride even promising to unblock JZyNo. However, it seems the digital barrier remains, and with it, the lingering tension.

But did you know that JZyno stated some months ago that he flew all the way from Ghana to show love to Teddyride at this Teddy Movement Concert last year knowing full well that they weren’t cool? If that’s not also fake love then what is it? Well, fans were somehow divided, calling for Teddyride to finally unblock JZyNo for genuine reconciliation, while others argue the public back-and-forth is unnecessary. And Teddyride took to Facebook to state in a recent post that he had already unblocked JZyno on Facebook:
“Showlehleh finished unblocking JZyNo. It’s all love. We fam, keep pushing worldwide bro. Ur tell me thank you na”
As Liberia’s music industry continues to grow, all eyes are on whether these two stars will finally move beyond the online drama, or if this feud is far from over.
