It’s a reminder to us all that, while the road to justice can be long and painful, every step taken towards accountability is a victory.
As the court proceedings unfold, we stand with Siah’s family and the citizens of Lofa in their call for justice. Little Siah’s story should never be in vain, and her death must be the turning point in ending the violence that has plagued the region.
Our thoughts continue to be with Siah’s family. May her soul rest in peace, and may justice prevail for this innocent life taken too soon.
