A Former Bong County Player, Joe Winston (AKA Family Planning) is reportedly dead following a mob violence incident on Ganta Highway.
Sources have confirmed that he was mobbed to d£ath on the Gbarnga-Ganta highway while attempting to steal a motorbike; an information that is yet to be independently verified.
Since the news broke, friends and members of the community he lived before his demise, took to Facebook to share their experience(s) and side of the stories.
Sam M Livingstone Said:
“Since last night, I heard that he had a gang of motorcycle thieves (this will need further verification) he usually sent to steal bikes. I was shocked at the video club upon hearing this. These kinds of information need independent verification.”
Amb Prince Barclay Said:
“Thank God. This guy have done so many things to our brothers. God thank you. God alive”
Sharon Saramae Snorton said:
“Joe can never steal a bike this story is not true”
She got a sharp reply from Numane Brown who said:
“Sharon Saramae Snorton you never really knew joe,he had several criminal records in Gbarnga”
GE Cooper said:
“This brother was very bad. Let him go rest so that the people of chicken soup factory can live in peace.”
Selma Na Kolleh Lomax said:
“we (his friends) have known him to be a long time criminal despite appearing decent.”
He played under the instructions of coach Joseph Carter in Lofa County in the NCSM, but that year, Bong County failed to qualify from the group stage of the National County Sports Meet.
