Fresh photos taken on September 26, 2024, from the Toe Town Public School in River Cess County, have sparked nationwide concern as children below the age of 12 are seen sitting on the ground to write notes and learn. The school, located between Konto Ziah Town and Siah along the Yarpah Town to ITI road, lacks basic educational facilities, forcing young students to endure these harsh conditions. The building itself being used as school is in a totally dilapidated condition.

Despite the dire situation in schools like Toe Town Public, government officials continue to drive luxury vehicles worth over $45,000 while receiving high monthly salaries. The glaring disparity between the conditions of public education and the lavish lifestyles of officials is raising serious concerns among citizens and partisans of the ruling establishment.

The source of the images, Aaron Geezay, highlights the growing frustration over the lack of investment in the education sector, especially in rural areas, where schools are often neglected despite the government’s promises of educational reform.

There are increased calls for the government to prioritize education and allocate more resources to schools in underdeveloped regions to ensure that all children have access to quality education.
