Montserrado County Senator Saah Joseph has successfully imported a huge shipment of medical supplies to aid Liberia’s health sector. In a social media update via his official page, Senator Joseph announced the arrival of five 40-foot containers filled with assorted medical equipment and supplies, destined for healthcare facilities across five counties: Grand Cape Mount, Bomi, Gbarpolu, Margibi, and Bong.
The medical supplies, provided through partnerships with Gateway Medical Alliance from Seattle and Project Save from Chico State, mark a major effort in Senator Joseph’s ongoing advocacy for improved healthcare resources in Liberia. During his recent trip to the United States, the senator lobbied for the much-needed supplies, emphasizing his dedication to securing international aid to improve healthcare services in his home country.
Expressing gratitude to Liberians for their continued support and prayers during his travels, Senator Joseph underscored the importance of these donations in uplifting the nation’s health infrastructure. The senator reaffirmed that the supplies would directly benefit the people of Liberia, especially in rural areas where medical resources are often scarce.
