Egypt national team team manager Mohamed Barakat has announced that the Pharaohs will play a friendly game against Liberia ahead of their first two matches in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Egypt played their first international friendly since the disappointing AFCON exit earlier in October when they defeated Botswana 1-0 in Alexandria which was the first game for the newly appointed coach Hossam El-Badry.
El-Badry has recently announced his squad for the two AFCON qualifiers against Kenya and Comoros last week, including the return of Mahmoud Kahraba who is active currently with C.D. Aves.
Barakat stated that Egypt will face Liberia on the 7th of June after reaching an agreement with the Liberia Football Association.
The Pharaohs are set to face Kenya and Comoros on the 14th and 18th of November respectively.
