A diamond believed to be the third largest ever found has been put on display in Botswana. The precious stone weighing 1,098 carats was shown to Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi, two weeks after, Debswana, a diamind unearthing firm, found it. Botswana is Africa\’s largest producer of diamonds. The gem is only slightly less heavy than the world\’s second-largest diamond which was also found in Botswana in 2015. An 18-year-old newlywed bride reportedly died on her wedding night whilst having sex with her husband. The Sun reported that the lady who was consummating her marriage with her 29-year-old new husband, started to feel unwell and collapsed at their home in the city of Ibirite in Brazil on Thursday evening. Boko Haram has reportedly gotten a new commander, following the death of its leader Abubakar Shekau. The Jihadist group confirmed the death of Shekau in a video message from its presumed new commander, Bakura Modu also known as Sahaba. Modu urged his faction’s commanders to remain loyal despite the loss of their commander. More than 30 women have sued pornographic content company, Pornhub, alleging exploitation for using their explicit videos without seeking their permission. The women say the videos were uploaded to Pornhub without their consent and have lodged a civil suit in California accusing Mindgeek, the parent company of Pornhub of running a \”criminal enterprise\”. Pornhub\’s content is mostly uploaded by its own community but the public can see it. However, the company has said every video uploaded is reviewed by human moderators. The administration of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion University (AMEZU) has revoked the degree it conferred on 14 people during its recent graduation ceremony for academic fraud and financial malpractice. The Copyright Society of Liberia (COSOL) says the government of Liberia is losing millions of dollars annually as a result of widespread abuse of the country’s 2016 Intellectual Property law broadly.
