The 12th edition of the Liberia Music Awards (LMA) unfolded under the electrifying theme “LOUD AND LIBERIAN,” celebrating the country’s most influential voices, rising stars, and cultural drivers who shaped the sound of 2024–2025. From major comebacks to breakout triumphs, this year’s ceremony highlighted the strength and evolution of Liberia’s music landscape.
Among the night’s biggest headlines was King Dennis, who secured the coveted Artist of the Year award, a defining moment that marked his return to the top after two years of steady rebuilding. He also claimed Male Artist of the Year, reinforcing his growing dominance.
DJ Sama also stood out with dual wins after his street anthem “Eat Your Show” captured Hipco/Trapco Song of the Year, before he later took home DJ of the Year, reaffirming his influence across the urban music DJing scene.
Emerging star Will Flash enjoyed a breakthrough night, winning New Artist of the Year while also securing Collaboration of the Year and Afropop Song of the Year with his chart-topping hit “My Ex” featuring CIC.
Gospel powerhouse Samuelyn Wilson delivered a remarkable performance in the Gospel and Local categories, winning Gospel Song of the Year, Female Vocal Performance of the Year, and Gospel Artist of the Year.
