The sale of the PYJ Polytechnic University, established in memory of the late Nimba County Senator Prince Y. Johnson, has been officially confirmed.
According to information gathered, the institution has been acquired by BASILEIA Industrial University, a faith-based, career-technical, tuition-free, and work-intensive university.
The new management has pledged to preserve Senator Johnson’s monument located both on the main campus and within the surrounding residential area. However, the name of the university will be permanently changed as part of the transition process.
Meanwhile, BASILEIA’s representatives are reportedly in ongoing meetings with concerned students who are demanding access to their academic records and transfer documents.
Further details about the agreement and future operations of the institution are expected to be released soon.
