Businessman Philip Paye, commonly known as Jah Glory, has decided to forgive Hipco artist Barsee Mocopala Kiloda following their recent altercation that led to the artist’s brief detention.
Speaking publicly, Mr. Paye confirmed that he had accepted Barsee’s apology after the rapper admitted to using offensive language during their encounter. His decision to forgive has been widely commended across Grand Bassa, with many praising him for choosing peace over conflict.
In return, Barsee has not only apologized to Mr. Paye but also to the people of Grand Bassa County. The musician announced plans to host a free “Apology Concert”, an event aimed at promoting reconciliation, unity, and self-reflection through music.
Community members are already hailing the move as a positive step toward healing and understanding between the artist and the public, turning what began as a moment of tension into an example of growth and forgiveness.
