Enna Lillahi wa Enna Ilayhi Raji’un
(To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ma Bindu Sumaworo, a Liberian pilgrim from Barkedu, Lofa County, who departed this life earlier today in the holy city of Madina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ma Bindu was among the first batch of Hujaj (pilgrims) that arrived in Madina just yesterday as part of Liberia’s 2025 Hajj delegation. Her sudden passing comes as a heavy blow to the hearts of her fellow pilgrims and loved ones back home.

According to sources, she will be laid to rest tomorrow (Friday) after the Jum’ah prayers in Madina, a noble burial in a sacred land that many Muslims around the world pray for.
We pray that Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) forgives her shortcomings, showers His mercy upon her soul, and grants her the highest level of Al-Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen!
Please keep Ma Bindu and her family in your duas during this difficult time.
Al-Falaah TV Liberia sends heartfelt condolences to the Sumaworo family, the entire Barkedu community, and the Liberian Muslim Ummah.
🕊️ May her soul rest in eternal peace.
