Liberian blogger, digital media strategist, and founder of Geez Liberia, Kerkula Blama, has been awarded his first international award as Blogger of the Year at the prestigious Young Achiever Africa Awards 2024/2025, held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Kigali, Rwanda.
Blama, a trailblazer in Liberia’s digital media space, was honored for his groundbreaking work in amplifying Liberian culture, entertainment, and youth voices through his fast-growing platform, Geez Liberia. His blog has evolved from a grassroots Facebook page into a continental media force, commanding over 300,000 followers and averaging 15,000 monthly web readers.
