Wantoe T. Wantoe, a name that has become synonymous with advocacy and excellence, has once again made Liberia proud! The young scholar has been elected as the Oxford Student Union (SU) Postgraduate Officer while pursuing his second master’s degree at the prestigious Oxford University. This is no small feat—Wantoe now represents a whopping 13,920 master’s and PhD students, ensuring their voices are heard, their welfare is protected, and their academic journeys are well-supported.

“Being elected as Postgraduate Officer and having the opportunity to represent the views, aspirations, welfare, and inclusion of 13,920 master’s and PhD students is a privilege beyond words,” Wantoe expressed.
His role isn’t just about representation; it puts him right at the heart of decision-making at Oxford. He will be sitting on over 25 senior committees alongside top university officials, helping shape policies that impact thousands of students. If that wasn’t enough responsibility, Wantoe will also serve as a Director and Trustee of Oxford SU, managing a £1 million student charity.
