At 16, he walked out of J.J. Roberts United Methodist School, young, full of energy, and ready to take on the world. He had a plan, earn his first degree at 21, get his law degree at 26, and carve out his path in the legal profession. But life had other plans.
Ebola happened. COVID-19 followed. The University of Liberia tested his patience and resilience. The road stretched longer than expected, filled with obstacles that threatened to derail his ambitions. But he never lost sight of the dream.
Now, 13 years later, at 29, the moment has arrived. He has passed the BAR exam, officially becoming an Attorney-at-Law under the Liberia National Bar Association. A journey delayed but never denied.

In his own words:
“At 16, I graduated from J.J. Roberts, so young, so so naive, so energetic about life. I told myself I would obtain my first degree at 21 and my Law Degree at 26. Life happened, Ebola happened, Corona happened, U.L happened ……. But through all of these obstacles……At age 29 I have passed the BAR exam, becoming an Attorney-at-Law…… and I would do it all over again… because I did it MY WAY!!!“
A story of resilience. A testament to determination. Proof that setbacks don’t define the dreamer, persistence does.
Congratulations to Liberia’s newest Attorney-at-Law! May his journey inspire others to keep pushing, no matter how long the road may seem.
