Suspended officials who have failed to declare their assets, as required by President Joseph Nyumah Boakai Sr., are now facing serious consequences.
According to the Civil Service Agency (CSA), any official who has not complied with the asset declaration mandate will have their February 2025 salary blocked. This restriction will remain in place until they meet the necessary requirements.

The move is part of the government’s effort to enforce transparency and ensure that public officials are held accountable. Asset declaration is a key measure to prevent corruption, and the administration is making it clear that no one is above the rules.

This should serve as a wake-up call to all government officials, comply with the regulations or face the consequences. The CSA is urging all agencies and spending entities to work together in upholding these standards in the interest of the Liberian people.
