The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) has expelled Deputy Speaker Thomas P. Fallah, emphasizing its commitment to discipline, constitutional integrity, and the unity of Liberia. This decisive action follows recommendations from the party’s National Disciplinary Committee, which cited concerns over conduct inconsistent with the party’s core values.
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the CDC has also issued a stern warning to temporarily suspended lawmakers within the party, granting them a seven-day ultimatum to reaffirm their allegiance or face expulsion. This move is aimed at consolidating the party’s strength and ensuring its legislative members uphold the principles that define the CDC’s mission in Liberia.

Amid mounting political tensions, the CDC has reiterated its recognition of Fonati Koffa as the constitutional Speaker of the 55th Legislature.
