AME University graduation ceremony today will celebrate the achievements of its 24th graduating class, but one name truly stands out: Ebenezer Steve Morlia. With remarkable dedication, focus, and total academic brilliance, Ebenezer will be honored as the Dux of the graduating class—a title given only to the very top student who graduates as the valedictorian of the class.
Not only did he receive the Dux distinction for the entire graduating class, but Ebenezer also earned additional top honors from the College of Science and Allied Health and the Department of Biology. His achievements go beyond the classroom as well, with an academic paper accepted for publication—an impressive feat for any student. As if that wasn’t enough, he was awarded the Bishop William Brooks Scholastic Award and the Bishop John Bryant Award, recognizing both his academic excellence and his outstanding contributions to the university community.
Earning these awards and ranking first out of 525 graduates is a clear testament of Ebenezer’s commitment to his education and his future. His accomplishments remind us all of what can be achieved with hard work, resilience, and a clear vision.
This evening, Ebenezer’s friends, family, and supporters will gather at Royesville Township to celebrate this special milestone in his life. The recognition he received today is not just a personal achievement but a proud moment for everyone who has supported him along the way.
Congratulations to Ebenezer S. Morlia on this extraordinary achievement! May his journey inspire many more students to pursue their dreams with the same passion and excellence.
