On Saturday, November 9, Kakata City Mayor Gbarngawoe Eddie Seyboe delivered an inspiring message as the 4th Commencement Speaker for the Class of 2024 at Sheila Love High School. Speaking directly to the graduates, he encouraged them to view high school as a stepping stone and urged them to continue their education at the university level if they want to succeed.

In his speech, Mayor Seyboe reminded the students that this graduation marks the beginning of their journey. He emphasized that, while completing high school is a significant achievement, they shouldn’t rely on it as the endpoint of their ambitions. “High school is just the beginning,” he said, advising graduates to stay focused and determined in pursuing higher education to unlock their full potential.

The Mayor also took a moment to recognize and commend the parents, whose support has been very instrumental in shaping the future of their children. He praised their dedication not only to their families but also to Liberia’s education system, acknowledging the crucial role they play in nurturing the next generation of leaders.

Mayor Seyboe’s words left an uplifting message for the graduates and their families alike, reinforcing the belief that through commitment and continued education, dreams are just within reach.
