Congratulations are in order for a young academic genius, Mira Mapederun, a remarkable 14-year-old Liberian student who just made history. Mira, a student at the Heritage International Leadership Academy in Congo Town, is officially the first Liberian 10th grader to ace the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). With a standout score of 1,100, she placed in the 58th percentile, outperforming more than 2 million other test-takers worldwide.

But that’s not all. Mira’s academic excellence has already earned her a place at Arizona State University in the U.S., where she’s enrolled in a dual-degree program—yes, all this while she is still in the 10th grade! As if that wasn’t enough, this young star also runs her own global cosmetic brand, showing the world what true ambition looks like.

Huge congratulations to Mira for this incredible achievement! Keep shining and inspiring young Liberians everywhere to aim for greatness.
