WAEC Liberia’s Communication Director, Mr. Prince S. Nagbe, has dismissed circulating social media reports claiming that the 2024 WASSCE results have been released. Nagbe stated that these reports, particularly trending on Facebook, are entirely false and misleading.
He reassured the public that WAEC Liberia is working diligently to ensure the official results are released by September 16, 2024. According to Nagbe, WAEC Liberia has a well-established practice of releasing results through official channels, including organizing press briefings where they share statistics on schools, pass rates, and student performance. None of these steps have taken place yet, confirming that the results have not been made public.
Nagbe also urged students waiting for their results to ignore the misinformation spreading online and advised those responsible for sharing these false reports to stop, as it undermines the integrity of WAEC’s work.
