The Liberian media has been hit with the shocking news of the death of renowned journalist Fidel Saydee. His passing leaves a void in both the journalism and academic communities, where he was highly regarded for his contributions.
Before his untimely death, Saydee served as the Manager of Roots FM, a popular Liberian radio station known for its fearless reporting and commitment to truth. He was also the Communications Director at AME University, playing a key role in shaping the institution’s public relations and outreach.
In addition to these prominent positions, Saydee was a co-host on The Costa Show, where he showcased his skills as a seasoned communicator, engaging in important national conversations and advocating for justice and transparency in Liberia.
The late journalist’s death is a significant loss, not only to his family but to the entire Liberian media landscape. We extend our deepest sympathies to his loved ones during this difficult time. The cause of death is still yet I know but we’ll keep you updated.
