Liberian music fans know that JZyno and Teddyride haven’t always been on the best of terms. After working together on the hit song Kpan Kpan Me, their relationship took a turn, and they quickly became known as fierce rivals. But it seems like the two might be putting the past behind them, based on some recent social media interactions that got people talking.
A few days ago, JZyno, who’s currently touring in Australia, shared a post about how much love his song Kpan Kpan Me got from the Melbourne crowd. He even gave a shoutout to Teddyride, saying:
“Hey Teddyride, Melbourne girls really love ‘Kpan Kpan Me’.😁♥️🇦🇺 What a golden song we made my broda.”
It didn’t take long for Teddyride to respond. Instead of ignoring the mention or throwing shade, he showed some love back. Teddyride congratulated JZyno on his Australian tour and called Kpan Kpan Me an “authentic hit.” His exact words were:
“Congratulations Jzyno on ur tour in the Settlement (Melbourne Australia). Normally the king have many queens in that city. Kpan Kpan Me is an authentic hit… Put kruness aside, we will still perform that song again.”
Fans were quick to pick up on Teddyride’s response, and many are now wondering if this means the two could be ready to perform together again. After all, despite their beef, Kpan Kpan Me is still a fan favorite, and hearing them perform it live together would be epic.
While we don’t know for sure if the rivalry is officially squashed, the fact that they’re publicly acknowledging each other and the success of their song is a big deal. Whether it leads to a full-blown reunion or just some friendly respect, it’s clear that Kpan Kpan Me still holds a special place in their hearts—and the fans’.
