Ernest Kortee Jallah (born 31 March 1995, in Monrovia), better known by his stage name EKJ, is a Liberian comedian and actor. During the Ebola pandemic in Liberia, he and his team set out to create stress freeing videos to entertain people who were then staying home because of the surge of the virus in the country.

EKJ started in the theater field in 2014 but as a standard actor when everyone was still on lockdown and glue to their phones. He then used the media as a means of comparing things that happened in Liberia vs other countries which later diverted his acting to being comical.
Biography
Early Life
Ernest Kortee Jallah was born in Montserrado but hails from Lofa, Liberia. He was born unto the Union of Mr. Raymond Jallah (Deceased) and Ms. Adella Bolo in Old Matadi Sinkor, Liberia. He completed his primary and secondary education in Monrovia, Montserrado and moved on to the University of Liberia, Montserrado county where he’s currently reading Forestry and Agriculture. He discovered his skills in making people laugh in 2014 when he was still doing standard acting and later had to switch to comedy during the heat of the Ebola Pandemic in Liberia. Later in 2020 he venture into full time comedy and has since then released dozens of interesting comedy depicting the livelihoods of Liberians in real life.
Education
Ernest completed his primary and secondary education in Monrovia, Montserrado. He graduated from the Brilliance Academy in 2014 and then in 2016 he moved on to pursue a degree at the University of Liberia, Montserrado county where he’s currently reading Forestry and Agriculture.

In 2017 EKJ entered the music industry and has the total five songs to his discography but without a record label.

He worked with some top Liberian producers including Genius and Shino.
