James Mulbah Kpoto ll well known as James Kpoto/ Baxter, Is a Liberian footballer who plays for Mighty Barrole in the Orange Liberian 1st Division League

James started playing football in his community, playing for several youth teams before officially starting his career in the paynesville sub Division, 4th Division league with, Children Vision.
He later moved to Reeves FC where he stayed for a year and was signed by Blue Angel the following year.

He later signed for Libra FC in the 3rd division league.

After few seasons with Libra FC, another third division league outfit Muscat FC signed Up James.

In 2012, James was part of Bong County, county meets team for the 2012 National County Sports Meets but, didn\’t make a single appearance because he got injured doing Bong county last practice session on the same day of their opening match. But, he stayed with the team throughout the tournament till they bow out in the Semi final.

James next county meets was with team Montserrado county in 2013, playing as left back as Montserrado qualified for the knockout rounds but, was later disqualified due to them fielding an ineligible player in the group stages.

In 2014/2015 national county sports meets, Baxter the strongest animal in the book animal farm, as his friends called him for his strength on the pitch, played for \”Grand Bassa County in that year County Meets and scored two goals.
One Vs Rivercess which qualified Bassa for the knockout rounds after they needed to win a goal margin to qualify.
His 2nd goals of the county meets was another important one this time, in the Semi Final where he scored the lone goal Vs Bong county which qualified Bassa to the final of the 2015 county meets which Bassa eventually won 🏅 🏆.

A month after winning the county meets with Grand Bassa, James Mulbah Kpoto Il was signed on a three seasons deal from Muscat FC to then Liberian 1st division league Champion BYC Football Club.
Within his 3 seasons at BYC, James won the Liberian 1st division league 2 times, the Liberian Fa cup 2 times and the super cup once.

He make several appearances and, traveled with his team BYC 1 to Mali, Mozambique and Senegal for a CAF preliminary rounds matches.

After 3 seasons with BYC 1.
James was signed by former Orange Liberian 1st division league Champion Nimba United on a two seasons contract as free agent.

At the end of his two seasons with Nimba United which ended months ago, James has now signed a 2 years deal with Liberia\’s darling club Mighty Barrole.
