Liberian international artist based in the United States Teefice Debill took time out to plead with Liberians who love music and are following entertainment to put Liberian music first in all they do entertainment-wise.

The Liberian Afropop artist stress the need for Liberians all over the world to do all they can to make sure Liberian music can be compared or can even surpassed other foreign music that are playing around the world.

In a Facebook post made by the Liberian superstar days ago, he wrote:

“Hey guys I am Teefice Debill a Liberian Afropop Artist based in America. I’m kindly asking all Liberians to put Liberian music first over any country music.
You don’t have to give us money, but playing the songs will also give us money because some apps that we post our songs on have monetization and they pay according to you views, streams and subscribers. Examples of such apps are YouTube, ITunes, Audiomack, Spotify, and other music apps.
So please share our work and play our songs if you are a Liberian. Show love to your own thing, we want to be like other artist around the world, building industry houses in our country like other do in their countries.
Come to ask yourself this question. Why do we play more Nigerian and Ghanaian Music in our country when our music is not being played even 1% in those countries??
Hey guys do not take music for granted. Music is money and also bring proud to a country. Afropop is hitting around the world, who tell you hipco can’t do the same? Let me tell we the Liberians today, when it comes to real raw talent we are number one in the world. A baby born today in Liberia is already born with their own skills and talent.
